Authorities are investigating after a woman was found dead in the cab of a pickup truck with a sheet or blanket wrapped around her body Wednesday night in Jacksonville.
Officers responded to the 5800 block of Vernon Road just off West Edgewood Avenue about 6:20 p.m. after a neighbor reported a red truck had been parked in the area for several hours, Sgt. Michael Paul said.
The truck was located in an alley behind a Family Dollar with the woman wrapped up inside, Paul said.
