A crash in Jacksonville north of downtown involving a tractor-trailer and six other vehicles shut down traffic in both directions on Interstate 95 at the Trout River for about three hours Thursday afternoon.
All southbound lanes were closed for just over seven hours, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported about 12:35 p.m. after a vehicle made an improper lane change in the northbound lanes and collided with the tractor-trailer, said Sgt. Dylan Bryan, spokesman for the Highway Patrol.
