As the president of the Jacksonville Chapter of Men Against Destruction Defending Against Drugs and Social Disorder, Donald Foy hears about violent crimes every day.
He said he wants to help the families of every victim he hears about but there’s only so much he can do.
The organization tries to concentrate on active investigations because the city has so many fresh murders, he said. But every now and then he hears a story about a case that’s gone cold and it breaks his heart.
