Justin Lightfoot wants nothing to do with his father’s Jacksonville apartment.
He said everything about it reminds him of the man who lost his life when the El Faro cargo ship sank Oct. 1 in Hurricane Joaquin.
The 20-year-old said he hoped his father would return home when the ship first went missing, so he paid Roan Lightfoot’s rent for at the San Pablo Apartments.
But when it was clear his father was lost at sea he decided to close the account for the apartment.
