Flagler County Sheriff Jim Manfre announced Tuesday that he doesn’t intend to appeal a decision earlier in the day by an administrative law judge who upheld two of three allegations against him stemming from ethics complaints filed by a former employee.
The judge recommended Manfre pay a fine of $6,200 for violating the two ethics laws as well as a public censure.
The third allegation that Manfre had taken trips to Louisiana, Virginia and Tennessee in a marked Sheriff’s Office vehicle was not upheld.
