An Interlachen man faces up to five years in prison after he was convicted Tuesday for punching a puppy in the head several times before throwing the dog out the window of a sport-utility vehicle in front of several witnesses, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
The dog later died after running into some woods.
It took less than 15 minutes Tuesday for a jury to convict 42-year-old Michael Anthony Dalton of Reaves Avenue on a felony charge of animal cruelty, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
