A 37-year-old inmate who escaped from a work-release prison facility Tuesday off Old Kings Road in Jacksonville turned himself over to authorities Thursday night, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Juan Rosacamacho called 911 about being an escaped prisoner and cutting his ankle monitor, according to a Sheriff’s Office arrest report. He was taken into custody at an apartment in the 3800 block of University Boulevard South after he said he did not want to run from authorities anymore.
