A teacher at St. Augustine High School has been suspended with pay while the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office investigates a possible inappropriate relationship she had with a student, according to the school district.
The teacher’s identity and her role at the school will not be released until the investigation is complete, said Christina Langston, spokeswoman for the St. Johns County school district.
She said the teacher received a letter from the district Tuesday to let her know she is being suspended due to “alleged misconduct.”
