A 22-year-old Jacksonville man who was found shot to death inside a car Friday has been identified by his family as Amanuel Kebede.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has not announced an arrest or identified the victim who was shot about 7 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Ashland Street.
But Kebede’s family gathered at his father’s Southside home Wednesday to mourn their loss.
Kebede’s sister Meron Kebede, 25, said her brother was 8 years old when they moved to Jacksonville from Ethiopia in search for a better life and better education.
