Two men who shot a man multiple times outside a 7-Eleven in Jacksonville Beach in 2014 and then left the state were convicted Thursday, the State Attorney’s Office said.
Lamonte Charles Arrington, 25, and Cordaro Kareem Hilton-Washington, 25, were convicted of first-degree attempted murder.
Arrington was also convicted of accessory after the fact.
The two men got into an argument with 29-year-old Wleh Nimley and when he left the store they shot him multiple times, prosecutors said.
The two men got into Arrington’s car and left the state.
