A 30-year-old Palatka man who was shot Wednesday during a home-invasion robbery died from his injuries Friday, according to the Palatka Police Department.
Marcus Givens was shot just before 11 p.m. in a residence on Gillis Street, police said.
Two men wearing masks entered the home and demanded cash from Givens’ girlfriend.
One of the men shot Givens and both fled the scene with the money.
An 8-year-old child was in the home at the time of the shooting, police said.
Neither robber has been arrested.
