A 24-year-old Jacksonville man who sold cocaine to an undercover detective three times in 2014 was sentenced to seven years in prison Thursday, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Asahn Brightman pleaded guilty in April to charges of distribution of cocaine, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a firearm in a drug trafficking crime, prosecutors said.
Brightman sold cocaine to an undercover officer on three occasions from July to September 2014 and was arrested after the third transaction, according to court documents.
