A 38-year-old Nassau County man who posed as a teenage boy on social media to persuade a 13-year-old girl to send him pornographic photos and eventually have sex with him was sentenced to 44 years in prison Thursday, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
Joseph Luis Levin was sentenced to 44 years followed by 10 years of sex-offender probation for six counts of lewd or lascivious battery, soliciting a child via computer and traveling to meet a minor to do unlawful acts, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
Levin pleaded guilty to the charges in March.
