A Jacksonville woman who was originally listed in life-threatening condition is now recovering and has been released from a hospital after an Aug. 12 quadruple shooting that killed a 14-year-old relative, according to family.
The woman was shot in the throat in the gunfire on West 38th Street just off Main Street, a family member said.
An argument at a party outside an apartment unit led to the shooting, police said. Tamia Alexandria Sanders, who lived on the same block, died. The others were wounded.
