Investigators have determined a Sunday fire at a home in Jacksonville’s Sherwood Forest neighborhood was set intentionally, although it’s unclear what was used to start the fire or who was involved, according to the state Fire Marshal’s Office.
The home in the 5200 block of Roanoke Boulevard was unoccupied at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported, said Joel Brown, spokesman for the fire marshal.
He said lab samples were taken from the home to determine if any accelerants were used.
