Members of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office SWAT unit took a homicide suspect into custody Wednesday after a brief standoff at a mobile home park on New Kings Road.
Investigators received a tip about 3:45 p.m. that the suspect was at the mobile home park in the 11100 block of New Kings, and when contact was first made the suspect refused to surrender, police said.
Police said the suspect was with a female and the two surrendered, although neither has been identified.
