A Monday collision in Middleburg involving three school buses left students with minor injuries although several of them had to be transported to hospitals for treatment as a “precautionary measure,” according to authorities.
There were about 80 to 90 students from Wilkinson Junior High School on board when the driver of the first northbound bus stopped quickly for a red light at County Road 220 and Blanding Boulevard about 4 p.m., according to the Clay County school district and Florida Highway Patrol.
