A 45-year-old man who police say robbed three banks across Jacksonville at different times of day was arrested this week during a traffic stop on the Westside.
Benjamin Held was taken into custody without incident and charged in the three bank robberies dating back to May 2 although other robberies are still under investigation, police said.
Held was evicted from his residence the day before the first robbery, according to court records.
That robbery took place May 2 at noon at the Bank of America in the 8300 block of Merchants Way in Argyle Forest.
