A 57-year-old Jacksonville man who fatally shot his roommate in the chest in 2011 was convicted Thursday and faces life in prison, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
Joseph Wade Robinson was found guilty of second-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of ammunition by a felon in the shooting death of 52-year-old Jimmie Gatlin, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
Gatlin was found dead in the home he shared with Robinson and two others in September 2011, prosecutors said.
