A pair of armed robbers, including one with shotgun and bullet-proof vest, terrorized a couple of victims Friday night at a Jacksonville motel on Golfair Boulevard.
The two forced their way into a room at the Metro Inn and demanded money from the first victim at gunpoint, police said. They ended up with $2.
The second robbery occurred about the same time on a different floor likely by the same two men, police said. One placed the shotgun to the victim’s face while the other went through his pockets and took his wallet, watch and phone.
