A 27-year-old Jacksonville man who was convicted Friday faces up to life in prison for a 2013 shooting death where he followed a man after an argument and shot him in the chest, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
Artiez Simon Ingram was found guilty of second-degree murder in the August 2013 death of 24-year-old Ronnie Lee Washington, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
Officers were called to the 3100 block of Nolan Street after a fight between a group of Ingram’s friends and Washington’s family, but the argument continued when police left, prosecutors said.
