Authorities are searching for the driver of a small, dark car with front end and windshield damage after a pedestrian was hit on Jacksonville’s Westside Saturday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian, described as a male in his teens, was walking across 103rd Street just before 6 p.m. when he was hit by the car in the eastbound lanes, according to the Highway Patrol.
The driver continued east and the pedestrian was transported to a hospital in critical condition, according to the FHP.
