A 55-year-old Jacksonville man who forced three children to perform sexual acts over the course of five years was convicted Friday, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
Wilmer Lycans faces mandatory life in prison for each of eight counts of capital sexual battery, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
The adult victims, who were all younger than 12 when they were abused, alerted authorities in 2013, prosecutors said.
They said Lycans forced them to perform sexual acts on him and each other during a five-year span, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
