A man arrested Monday in Waynesboro, N.C. on a murder charge in the 1993 death of his wife in Jacksonville was transported to Duval County Thursday, according to jail records.
Michael Ray Haim, 49, was booked in the Duval County jail Thursday on the murder charge and is being held without bail, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
DNA tests identified skeletal remains found in a Jacksonville backyard as 23-year-old Bonnie Lynn Haim, who went missing in January 1993, police said.
