A 39-year-old Jacksonville man was arrested on charges of receiving child pornography over the Internet after authorities searched his home Thursday, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct had been downloaded earlier in the day on Jason Dean Barnes’ computer. He told investigators he has been struggling with an addiction to child pornography for years, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
